Billing, plainly.

Do I need a card to start?＋
No. The Free plan is genuinely free and asks for nothing. Every paid plan gives you one month free, and you can cancel inside that month without being charged.
Can I subscribe on the web, or only in the app?＋
Either. Subscribing here goes through Stripe in your browser. Subscribing on iPhone goes through the App Store. It is the same account and the same plan, so pick whichever suits you.
Why do I have to sign in to pay?＋
Either. Your subscription attaches to your LORDLY account, so the plan follows you across the app and the desktop portal. We do need to know who you are before taking payment, so if you are new, sign up first: in the app, or right here in your browser if you do not have an Apple device.
What if I change plans later?＋
You can move up or down at any time. If you subscribed on the web, changes are prorated in the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from the plan page inside the portal. If you subscribed through the App Store, you change it in your Apple subscriptions.
What happens if I go over my property limit?＋
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. LORDLY tells you which plan covers your portfolio and keeps the extra properties read-only until you move up.
Do tenants or tradies pay anything?＋
Tenants never pay. Tradies pay a flat 5% platform fee on jobs booked through the marketplace, released from escrow once the work is signed off. No lead fees, no subscription.
